Every piece leaves with a record of what it is.
We examine watches and jewelry, document what we find, and issue a numbered certificate stating authenticity, condition, gemmological findings and appraised value - verifiable by anyone holding the report number.

Two laboratories,
one report format
Wristwatches and pocket watches
Reference and serial verification, movement and caliber identification, dial and hand originality, case measurement against factory tolerance, bracelet and clasp codes, service history indicators, and a condition grade. Gem-set watches are cross-examined by the gemmological bench.
Diamonds, coloured stones and finished jewelry
Natural versus laboratory-grown determination, treatment and enhancement disclosure, 4Cs grading on loose stones, estimated grading on mounted stones, metal fineness testing, hallmark reading, and total weight by measurement or by scale.
The certificate is written for the person who will doubt it.
Insurers scheduling a piece, estate counsel dividing one, a customs officer, a buyer on the secondary market - all of them read the same three things first: what was examined, how it was tested, and who signed.
See how we examineEvery claim tied to a test
If we state a stone is laboratory-grown, the instrument and observation that established it is named in the report.
One value type per report
Insurance replacement, fair market, or marketable cash value - declared on the face of the certificate, never blended.
Photographed and archived
Calibrated images of every examined piece are retained with the report for ten years and released to the certificate holder on request.
