How a genuine certificate is recognised
Report number
Prefix identifies the laboratory - W for horology, J for gemmology - followed by a six-digit sequence.
Printed micro-pattern
Fine engine-turned pattern printed under the text block. It breaks up visibly under photocopy or scan.
Embossed seal
Embossed association seal across the lower right, felt rather than seen.
